I like to think that tortilla chips are just the vehicle for salsa to make the journey into my mouth but these tortilla chips I like just as much without salsa, as with it. They are light, crunchy, have a great flavor, & are good for you. I received a bag of the Garlic Hummus for sampling purposes but the fact that I loved them would remain the same if I purchased them myself. I'll definitely need to seek out the spicy bean flavor to give a try also. Nothing like having great snacks on hand when the snack attack strikes! ### ⭐⭐⭐ Tastes fine, but healthiness is laughable; it contains more oil, rice flour, and dextrose than beans! *by A***A on Reviewed in the United States on June 27, 2016* Let's get taste and texture out of the way first. It's fine. Basically like tortilla chips dusted with a bit of garlic salt.But tortilla chips are a dime a dozen, right?! These Garlic Hummus ones must be special, since they proudly advertise:1) 14g Whole Grain2) 2g of fiber3) Made with Pinto, Navy, & Black BeansLet's look at these one at a time:1) 14g of whole grain is okay, but not all that impressive. You'll find the same in many cereals, for instance.2) 2g of fiber is pretty pathetic, and is akin to many regular corn chips. For comparison, Beanitos (*real* bean chips) have *6* grams of fiber.3) Made with pinto, navy, and black beans... er, they're lower on the ingredient list than oil, rice flour, and dextrose. So we're likely looking at about a thimble of beans for the entire bag. I should have suspected something when -- in light colored type at the very of the bottom bag -- I see "THREE BEAN FLAVORED TORTILLA CHIP" (yes, it's in all caps). "Flavored" is your big hint here. It's like "Chocolate-flavored" or "fruit-flavored" and we all know what that means (and tastes like).So basically, if you'd like a bit of garlicy flavor added to your tortilla chips, this item may well fit the bill. Just don't deceive yourself into thinking it's any healthier than a regular (and probably less expensive) bag of corn chips. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ These chips will make your taste buds thrive! How many regular, boring tortilla chips have we all eaten? A ton I bet!
