It's a bulb and it works so it gets 5 stars
It's as advertised. I will update the review in 3 months and in a year to let you know if the first bulb has yet to blow out. In 2020, this kind of bulb design is a bit outdated, but I'm in no financial position to change ceiling light fixtures right now; if I get 5 years out of the 5 bulbs then I'll be moderately satisfied and that would be 3 stars in my book. Hard to beat the price. NOTE: You HAVE to wear gloves when handling these bulbs -oil from your hand will cause them to blow out. I don't know if the packaging explicitly states this, as I already knew this and tossed the box. Thought I'd add this bit of info in case y'all don't know and the box doesn't say. WEAR GLOVES WHEN INSTALLING.

Decently made version of a crappy bulb
These bulb styles are notoriously poor and inefficient. I can't do anything about having one on my wall in a rental so I replaced it with these, the cheapest bulbs I could find that weren't abysmally rated. It's been 14.5 months and my first bulb just went out. These are used everyday, multiple times a day, being switched on and off. I honestly didn't expect them to last 14.5 months each, so I think I got enough value for my money. When compared to LEDs and other more efficient lighting tech these are not great, but if you have to buy them, this is a decent brand.

Fits your "Type Q" vanity light
Replaced the bathroom vanity light four years ago with a lovely fixture that has a large sticker indicating: "TYPE Q. 100 WATTS MAXIMUM." Imagine my irritation when I find, through arduous internet search, that there appears to be no such thing as a TYPE Q, in 100 watts or anything else. Lo and behold, this thing is a Type Q under the alias of an R7S T3. It fits. It glows with a happy 100W glow. It is, to all intents and purposes, the very unicorn I so earnestly sought. These things come in packets of ten or so, which I recommend even if you need only one, because by next year it might be a Type Z and it'll be the mystery mythical beast hunt all over again. Stock up!

Do not buy. 2 of 5 of the lights were dead when I tried to use them.

Works perfectly! Exactly as advertised.
It's a 1/4 of the price on Amazon than it is instore. $7.00 for 1 light at Cdn Tire and Hme Depot and 10 minutes to find someone that can help you. For small items like this, Amazon is absolutely perfect. Such a time saver.

Came on time.Let there be light!
These were very hard to find in my local stores. Thankfully they came in one day. I needed 3 for my bathroom and 2 were burnt out. Light at last! Now I can see how much my bathroom needs cleaning.

Dim, not bright lights.
Very dim lights, can barely see in my bathroom. Not bright at all. If you are looking for the bright lights these are not them. Waste of money.
