Elegant shimmer. Thong caused cuts.
I purchased several of this style of FitFlop in the past for the comfort and style. This is the first pair I've purchased in several years. The shape of the foot bed is noticeably slimmer than it was on previous models. The feel of the foam sole is slightly different. This style has a lovely shimmery pattern on top. One problem I had with this pair that I did not have with any others I purchased was that after wearing them for an hour I got cuts on both big toes where the thong pressed against them while walking. Since I regularly wear sandals with a toe thong, I did not expect this and believe that this is a less well thought out part of the design.

The product does hold for 5 months. I tried it during winter time though , i am not certain if its effect will last that long during the hot weather.

Love FitFlops
Every Summer I buy a new pair of FitFlops, I find them very comfortable and like the variety of styles and colours they come in. They will last you a few summers. Eventually the stitching around the thong between the toes starts to show wear but it will take a very long time for this to happen. The soles are very sturdy and will definitely outlast the fabric part. They are significantly more expensive than a regular flip flop, in my opinion they are worth it, as they definitely last longer than regular flip flops and the technology and research gone into them has resulted in a very comfortable flip flop that you can walk miles in.
