We live in an apartment complex so risked getting a report or notice. One neighbor had already complained. This bark collar came just in time. We used to be able to hear her immediately after getting off the elevator, now, it’s quiet. And when we are home and she hears noises outside our door in the hall (neighbors coming and going and their jingling keys), she will bark, but not when we put this collar on.The only thing is if you are going to have it on your dog when you are home, I would not have the sensitivity at a level 7. It will go off if she shakes her head. When we leave, we crate her and she doesn’t move around so much so we put it at a level 6 or 7. When we’re home, if she’s wearing the collar, the sensitivity is at a level 5 or 6.We have the vibrate at a level 4. And started the shock at a level 1 but with noises outside it didn’t stop her from barking so we increased it to a level 2. Same thing. So we put it at a level 3 and that’s the maximum we have ever put it because it worked. She barked once but stopped after that.Very happy. Would definitely recommend. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ She is a new dog *by J***N on Reviewed in the United States on August 6, 2017* I sent my blue heeler to a month long one-on-one boarding and training program, bought a top of the line remote e-collar, and have a dog fence. Thousands of dollars and constant work. I avoided the bark collar because I didn't want to swap out collars and confuse the dog, but was desperate - she just could not control her anxiety response and would yip ear piercing barks randomly and I couldn't catch it with the manual remote.This collar has made a HUGE difference in her behavior, not just barking. She is not losing her mind every time my other dog looks at her. It would have been better if she could have controlled her behavior without shock, but could not, even with professional help and lots of attention. She's getting to stay outside more and be around other dogs, which she loves. It's been less than two weeks but it is tremendous.Fine tuning the settings are important, and I don't know if it would be as helpful if she had not been worked with diligently about her barking, but the only negative is that I didn't buy this before. I don't even think I needed the fence collar because she associated jumping the fence with barking. ### ⭐⭐ Shocks When Dog Isn't Barking -- Unacceptable *by A***S on Reviewed in the United States on July 25, 2017* While this product does what it says it will do, I have a few issues with it. Even with the sensitivity lowered to level 4, it still is triggered when my dog was not barking. It was triggered a few times with him running around the house playing or scratching himself. I can't have that occurring, especially if shocked was enabled. Another issue I had with it is that the collar doesn't contain a metal loop to hook a tie-out to so my dog had to wear two collars, kind of bulky for a small dog like mine.The shock was also too strong for a dog of my size. When I first received it, I shocked myself with it and it was a big jolt, even for an adult like me. Can't image how it would feel for smaller dogs, under 15 pounds.
