My six year old son and I built our first rocket and we had a great time seeing it launch. We started with the A motors to get an Idea of what we were doing then progressed to the two larger motors. I was a little worried the structural integrity may have been compromised after the first couple launches with the A engines but our rocket remains durable and flight worthy even after launching with the larger C sized engines and several touchdowns in less than ideal locations. I highly recommend researching the recommended launch area specs on estes website before launching to avoid losing your rocket, ours was flying nearly beyond eyesight and would have easily been lost if we were in a more densely populated area.
