Great design = outstanding product
The question "easy to install?" isn't quite fair, as fin box installs are a pain in the neck. But this fin box is a lot easier to install than the originals. Two features make the SBS box a gem, the ribs on the side of the box and the very thin tabs on top. These make the job much easier and quicker with a lot less sanding. The ribs allow you to place the fiberglass cloth inside the rout rather than over the surface of the box. The tabs that suspend the box above the fin rout are about 1/32". With the extra layer of glass and a thick surface tabeliminated, finish sanding becomes a breeze. Great design = outstanding product.

This fin and box was installed on a 8’ SUP and works great. My grandsons are having a ball. Very solid once installed and the board runs true. Very good product and a lot cheaper than I thought they would be
