Review: Great knife, great price - So far pretty impressed! I’ve taken it on 8 or so dives over 3 hours each dive and all dives on different days. Have not rinsed the knife once just throw it in the sun, leaving it the plastic sheath and has no rust on it so far. Can’t say that much about my riffe or spear pro knives. Would love one of these in a stiletto for braining big fish but still works
Review: Great knife for fishing! - Bought this knife for regular fishing, line cutting, bait cutter, and i know that isn’t what it’s designed for but still worked perfectly and it’s always at an easy reach!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can it be thrown ?**
A: Assuming you have the strength to pick it up.

**Q: Does the plastic sheath hold the knife in waves?**
A: I'd say it'd do a pretty good job of it. The fit is snug... not enough to prevent a pretty fluid draw, but snug enough to keep the knife secure until you're ready to deploy it intentionally.

**Q: How long are the straps? Can they fit around my leg?**
A: Just under 20", the elastic straps stretch to about 36" though they would probably fit very tight if stretched to 36"

**Q: How does the paracord hold up with the waves and in and out of water?**
A: The cord on the handle is still in good shapes and I dive in mercy ocean water in Sheepshead Bay Brooklyn. The nice thing about it is when it where’s out it’s an inexpensive repair.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great knife for fishing!
*by A***N on September 16, 2026*

Bought this knife for regular fishing, line cutting, bait cutter, and i know that isn’t what it’s designed for but still worked perfectly and it’s always at an easy reach!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ What's there to say? It's an affordable and functional knife
*by A***1 on May 1, 2019*

Good things about this knife: - Stretchy holster can be attached to any part of body, but personally, I have it on my thigh. It feels very comfortable to the touch, and can be worn even on bare skin without causing irritation. - Knife blade itself is very sharp, and can cut through cardboard with practically no effort required, provided proper form. - Grip of the blade is pretty good, and while it isn't the most comfortable, it still functions quite well as a grip. - Sheath has a relatively low profile (I personally use the plastic one, for personal reasons), and can easily be hidden if wearing long skirts, black pants, etc, without leaving a noticeable bulge in the clothing. Bad things about the knife: - The holster straps are a pain in the ass to figure out, and even when sticking them through the buckle (yes, you have to do it yourself), they still fall out on their own, so you have to put them beneath the strap once it's already on you to ensure it stays. This applies whether you're using the fabric or the elastic holster straps. - The location of the plastic button on the holster is in an awkward position and requires you to have long fingers to effectively take it out with one hand. You can still get it out, just don't expect a lightning fast flip action without some practice. I bought this knife to protect myself and it is working pretty well. Do buy this if you need protection, it will serve you well.
