Bio-Active Cyanuric Acid Reducer is the only EPA-registered product proven to naturally reduce CYA levels by up to 50 ppm per treatment — no draining, no dilution, no harsh chemicals. However, I never got the product to work. Found it to be a failed and expensive mistake. Ended up dropping the water in the pool and refilling it to get the Cyanuric acid down. **Q: Does this work with a uv sanitizer ?** A: This product doesn't work at all. This product is a waste of money. Leslie's Pool Supplies used to carry this product in their brick & mortar stores but ceased carrying it due to all the complaints they about this not working. The only way to reduce the cyanuric acid level in your pool is to change at least 25% up to 100% of the water in the pool. **Q: Can this be used in a covered pool?** A: Yes, you can use it in a covered pool. **Q: Does the water gets cloudy after application of the product?** A: Not in my experience. It also didn't lower my cyanuric acid levels sufficiently. I ended up pumping out some water and refilling. ## Frequently Bought Together - Bio-Active BA-CAR-16 Non Polluting 100-Percent Cyanuric Acid Reducer Powder for Commercial and Residential Swimming Pools, 16 Ounces - Cyanuric Acid (CYA) Reducer for Pool and Spa, Removes CYA Through Filtration 1IB - EASYTEST 7-Way Pool Test Strips, 150 Strips Water Chemical Testing for Hot tub and Spa, Accurate Test Bromine, Total Alkalinity, pH, Free Chlorine, Total Hardness, Cyanuric Acid, and Total Chlorine --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.in/products/440139695-bio-active-products-inc-bio-active-ba-car-16-non](https://www.desertcart.in/products/440139695-bio-active-products-inc-bio-active-ba-car-16-non) --- *Product available on Desertcart India* *Store origin: IN* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
