Ecstatic with the outcome!
All around YES! Seriously buy these if you need to brighten your under cabinets and want an easy do it yourself solution. I did a lot of research trying to find a product that checked all the boxes, I ultimately wanted a remote or an app to be able to adjust the lights but Iโll survive without. This product was well packaged and came overly equipped with literally everything you need for a seamless installation as long as you take your time making it work and look good. The wires are minimally showing in very few areas which is fine coming from someone who normally loses their mind over visible wires. The dimming function is a game changer and a win for kitchen lighting. The lights and setup are bright and well made for the price you pay. Iโm very happy I went with these, Iโll use them again and again in any future rentals as they also give you the adhesive option, so theyโre very renter friendly as well! My kitchen looks so much better ๐ค 5 stars โญ๏ธ โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ

Been Using Daily -- Everything as Advertised
I had a small florescent light on my office credenza/bookshelf which I use as often as my matching desk. LEDs weren't yet available when I bought my office furniture. I use the light often and found myself having to regularly replace the tube. To boot, the credenza is 70 inches wide, but the light was only 17 inches so I didn't have full light coverage. LEDs have a long-life rating so I wanted to convert to an LED system. This kit was everything it advertised. It's connected to a switchable wall outlet so I can turn it on from the wall switch. The kit also came with an optional in-line switch plus a dimmer switch. The kit is modular so you can be very creative as to how you design the installation I choose to include the dimmer so I can switch from soft accent lighting to bright task lighting and everything in-between. The switch allows you to turn it off and back on to the same exact brightness setting without having to adjust. I choose the "Warm" color option which is a better option for any living space. With the dimmer set to the brightest setting, it's really bright. Use the "Cool" color for a workshop or hobby location with whiter light. I lined up four lights under the bottom bookshelf to give a constant light across the desk area of the credenza. The light is even with absolutely no dark spots at any dim setting. The last two lights are split inside two cabinets of the credenza. One holds the CPU and CDs while the other side holds the printer. Unlike the florescent light, the LEDs run perfectly silent on any dim setting. Installation was a breeze. I used the screw-on brackets as it was very easy, but don't risk splitting your wood. Drill a tiny pilot hole first. The lights are so lightweight, you only need one bracket for each. Overall, if you're looking for a complete, good under the cabinet LED lighting system, this is the one to get.

Great lights for a display shelf
I've ordered the 3000K and 5000K versions of these lights with black connectors. I have a shelving unit with black framing, and I wanted to use these lights to light up the shelves. The black connectors are easier to hide with the framing. --- Pros --- * There are several clips for the connectors/cables, and there are adhesive strips and plastic brackets to give a couple options for mounting the lights. * The lights are decently bright, and I think they work well in a shelving unit. * The lights have a low profile, making them easier to hide. * The connectors that come in the kit are longer than I've seen with others. I found them adequate for reaching between shelves in a shelving unit. * There are 3 options for power: always on, with an on/off switch, with a dimmer switch --- Cons --- * I would have liked to see a 3500K or 4000K offering of these lights. I've settled on 5000K for my usage. The 3000K shows up very orange when there's a nearby surface. * While there are a good number of clips included, I would have liked to see a few more. With some planning, the included items may be enough. * The plastic brackets that hold the light panels can be detached from the panels, but it's pretty difficult. I could see there being potential for damage when trying to separate them. I've seen other lights with metal tabs that could be pulled to release the panel. --- Could go either way --- * When connecting the lights in series, the lights that come later in the chain seem to lose some brightness. It's not drastic, but it may be worth paying attention to. --- Temperature --- I initially tried the 5000K lights. I thought they looked nice once I set them up with the shelves, but they felt a bit too cool in the room. In my space, I have north facing windows with 2700K, 3000K, and 3500K ambient lighting. I do have the ability to adjust some of this warmth. I thought the 3000K version of this product might match my space better, so I ordered a second set of the warmer lights. I had intended to use the first set of lights in another room where the cooler color might match better. Once I received the 3000K lights, I tested them out, and they were way more orange than I expected. Since I'm already using 2700K lights in the space, this caught me off guard. My best guess is the more orange hue isn't as noticeable with ambient lighting. Since I'm using this product in shelves near a wall, I think the close proximity to multiple surfaces really brings out the orange. I decided the 3000K lights were too warm for me to use in any space, so I decided to return the set. The 5000K lights can work in the space, even if I would prefer them to be slightly warmer (maybe 3500K to 4000K). With sunlight coming through the windows, the 5000K lights aren't too out of place. Also, when lighting is used to accent a display area, I think cooler lighting can feel appropriate. If I decide later that there's too big a contrast in light temperature, I'll adjust some of my existing lights to be cooler. --- The kit --- The product itself is great. The LED strips/panels are decently bright, and the low profile makes it easier to hide the direct line-of-sight to the LEDs when powered on. The kit comes with a number of clips for holding cables in place. I would have liked a higher count of the different types, but with some planning I came up with a solution that worked well. There are a handful of adhesive strips along with plastic brackets and metal screws that can be used for mounting the lights. I used the brackets for better longevity. I now have 5 shelves illuminated with these lights, and I don't see any cables or light sources unless I view the shelves from sharp angles. --- My setup --- The connections in my setup are: outlet > smart plug (separate product) > power adapter > power switch > dimmer switch > light 1 > connector 1 > light 2 > connector 2 > light 3 > connector 3 > light 4 > connector 4 > light 5 > light 6 > dangling unused connector The power switch turns the whole thing on and off. The dimmer switch can also turn off the light, so the power switch isn't necessary. I keep it connected for the convenience of a quick power off. Otherwise I'd have to rotate the dial down to 0 brightness, then off. I keep both powered on at all times. This allows me to use apps and voice commands with the smart plug to turn on the lights in the shelf. It'd be nice if I could dim with "smart" devices, but I'm fine with the physical knob. The kit comes with plastic brackets that can latch onto the LED panels. There are little screws that can be used to attach the brackets to a surface. I screwed these brackets into the undersides of my shelves. I then clipped the lights into place. I used the small adhesive clips and the adjustable loop clips to hold the connectors in place, out of sight. The final light has a connector piece dangling from it, so I used some blu tack to hold it out of sight. I tried blu tack with some of the wiring, but I found it's not very effective. The clips that come with the kit are much more effective. I did hold the power adapter and switches in place with some blu tack. I've settled on the position of the lights, so screwing in the brackets was a good solution. For the power components, I like the flexibility with being able to move some of that around later, so the putty was preferred there. Overall, it took me quite a while to plan out how to install the lights and then execute the plan, but I'm pretty happy with how it looked in the end. I'm still putting together some things with the shelves, so I don't have any photos currently for the review. I may add some later.

A good investment. Very satisfied.
These worked out very nicely. We had some halogen lights under cabinet to light our main kitchen work area (from a previous owner) and they were so hot we were afraid they were going to start a fire. Seriously, the plastic rims of those lights were deformed from heat, and flour in the cabinet above them was hot to the touch. We had to replace those crazy things and this is what I chose. The installation was as easy as it could have been (given the need to contort your body to reach under the cabinets). The connectors all worked fine and the quality of the light is excellent. The only negative (and hence the loss of one star) is that some of the sticky wire holders didn't stick very well. Most of them did, though, and tossing a few extras near the problem ones seems to have resolved it. Luckily, the vendor includes plenty of those so there were enough to do this. In the end, I couldn't be happier. They brightly light our counters and I can dim them if I want to leave just a little light in the kitchen, without using much electricity. Best of all, my house won't be burning down now.

You really need these
These are the best under cabinet lights I've had. The mounting hardware is easy to use. I'm so not a fan of two-sided tape for mounting wires and stuff, but these really hold. I mounted the lights themselves with the screw in clips, but everything else is with the supplied tape. I also like that it works with the dimmer and the switch. Most others I've had you had to choose one or the other. overall these are the best ones I've ever had and I will be buying more soon.

These lights are a huge deal for the price and they work great. I'm so happy!
I think my husband said that he read about these in Wirecutter. Received these and my husband installed them the same day. These are great. Lots of extra cords and good bits to put everything up and stow the cords. All the other photos and videos are accurate!

Fantastic product and so easy to set up
I am so incredibly happy with this purchase! I purchased them based on the very high star rating (4.8 at the time I made the purchase) and it really did seem to come with exactly what I was looking for (warm white LED bars with dimmer). It was so easy to set up! Everything you need is included in the pack. They give you multiple ways to mount the light bars - mounting tape (which is super adhesive) or screws - and plenty of wire clips to rout the wire and keep them tucked away and out of sight (see close-up cabinet picture). The lights are super bright (see full-view picture, which was taken in daytime) when all the way up, using the included dimmer, and give a nice ambient glow when dimmed all the way. In order to get both the top and bottom lights on the same dimmer switch, I did have to buy a splitter wire and some extension wires separately, but that's fine. Not everyone is going to want to or need to do that. My only complaint, if I could even call it that, is that the wires are not white. I think black cabinets are quire rare, if there are even any, so it would be nice if they came in or were offered in white or other colors to help make them match better. Also, while the light bars are very low profile making them easy to keep out of sight (see close-up picture of cabinet), the dimmer switch is quite thick, so when mounted under the cabinet it could be seen, so I mounted it inside the cabinet instead (see picture of dimmer). Still those were not enough to lessen my 5-star rating. I think for the quality, ease of setup and amount of supplies they give you for the price, I really am very happy.

Very well built kit
The kit includes everything you need and I was impressed to see the quality of the parts. Even the screws were stainless steel. The lights are well diffused and we are happy with the result.
