Works very well except I had to update the firmware which requires a PC and for you to download their firmware updater app. After that it connects very well to my PS5 controllers. Before updating the firmware, the connection would cut in and out. My only problem with it is that its a bit wide and if you try to put 2 next to each other on a raspberry pi, it does not fit and you need an extender for one of them

This adapter works perfectly! I am impressed! Plugged it into my docked Switch 2 and connected to Dualsense controller! Works perfectly! Awesome!!

Functionally, it's worked perfectly for my use. I don't like the feel of the Joycons so being able to connect a DualSense controller to use on my Switch makes it feel like it adds value to the purchase since I can use old controllers. It's easy to use, you just plug it into one of the Switch's USB ports (I recommend one of the front ports) or you can use a USB to USB-C adapter in portable mode. Overall I want to buy another one so I can connect a second controller to my Switch.

When Nintendo added support for Bluetooth devices on Switch, I expected them to generically support Bluetooth controllers, and was disappointed to learn they only support approved devices. This adapter basically tells the Switch that it is a wired pro controller, so the Switch accepts input from it. Now I can pair any generic Bluetooth gamepad with the adapter (including my Xbox series controller) and it works perfectly on my Switch (only while docked of course). Nintendo really should have just supported all generic Bluetooth gamepads themselves, but this inexpensive adapter allows you to hop over their garden wall.

This works well after an update. Out of the box it doesn’t link up to the switch 2/ Xbox controller. You have to update the firmware on the adapter first. You also have to enable the pro controller on the switch for this to finally work. After that it works great. If it came ready to go out of the box I would of gave this 5 stars.

I'm struggling to find a decent Bluetooth adapter for a desktop PC I'm setting up as a retro emulation station. I bought this thinking it was a generic Bluetooth USB adapter in a fancy shell. That's not what this is at all. This allows you to pair Bluetooth controllers, without using the Windows Bluetooth stack, and it treats them like wired Xbox controllers. So for best results you need to use a controller with the same number of buttons as an Xbox controller. I tried this with a dual shock 4 and I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was. Paired in just a few seconds. I'm thinking about getting a second one now for two-player games. Because it isn't a generic Bluetooth adapter, doesn't rely upon the windows Bluetooth stack, and maps all buttons to Xbox buttons, funky controllers like wiimotes don't work at all. They will pair but there's not much you can do with them. Least I haven't played with it very much. Another downside is if you do pair a PlayStation controller to use with this, button prompts in PC games show up as Xbox buttons. Could be potentially annoying if you're playing a new game and don't know what buttons do what. The control software, "ultimate control" is pretty intuitive and it's portable so it doesn't require an install. It's necessary to use if you want to say change the LED colors of a dual shock 4 or remap buttons. You can also use the software to set up different profiles and macros. At the end of the day, I still need to find a decent Bluetooth adapter for my wiimotes. For PlayStation controllers though this will do the job!

I was so positive this thing wouldn't work on switch like it said, it was latest firmware, it connected, everything... But no input. I am using the 8bitdo ultimate controller 2 with this adapter to my switch. If you have this issue, go to controller settings on the switch and turn Pro Controller Wired Communication to on. This has it recognize the dongle as the true 'input'

This was really easy to use and once setup it works like a dream. I can connect Bluetooth controllers to my Nintendo switch faster than the joy cons. The only thing I wish this did was connect to multiple controllers at once.

Works flawlessly with Xbox One controller after updating firmware on Windows 10

Demorou bastante a chegar e veio da china, apesar da loja ser na amazon US. Fui taxado também. Mas ele funciona perfeitamente. Comprei para usar no Playstation Mini, junto com meu controle da 8bitdo e foi só conectar parear e usar. Não testei nas outras plataformas ainda, mas como minha ideia era usar no ps mini mesmo, ta excelente já.
