Pure Skin Cleanser

Love this product! The size is larger than expected which makes it an excellent value. You only need 1-2 pumps to clean your entire face. It's silky, non-greasy and feels heavenly on my face and neck. Unlike most facial products I've tried, it doesn't burn my face at all. After using, my face looks and feel clean witI have found my brand.

This is actually gentle and does a simple cleanse. There’s no irritation and a good starter product.

It's difficult to get the pump started; just keep trying. It does start acting right. As for the actual product, it is very similar in form and consistency to the Cerave face wash for dry skin that I was previously using. It doesn't come in the large size like Cerave. To be honest, I loved the Cerave. However, I'm switching my products to Cruelty Free, Leaping Bunny Certified whenever they need replacing. Elf does that. And, in case it's important to you, Elf is 100% vegan. There's absolutely no excuse for animal testing of any kind, for any reason. If that's as important to you as it is to me, do your due diligence. Do NOT accept their website claims or even the claims from PETA. The only 2 trustworthy websites are Cruelty Free International or Cruelty Free Kitty. Look for the Leaping Bunny logo.

I have very sensitive skin and this is the only face wash that I stand behind. Many other reviewers have noted the lack of feeling clean post wash, but I believe that’s from the lack of suds. If you use the toner, you’ll see that there’s no residue left behind, unless you wore make up and didn’t remove it prior to washing your face. It is NOT a make up remover. I imagine in being sensitive skin friendly, it lacks ingredients used to break down makeup, which is good for sensitive skin users. I use the Holy Hydration lotion after the cleanser and toner. I believe this combination produces a little more oil, so if you have oily skin follow up with the recommended lotion.

I adore e.l.f. products, cruelty free beauty is very important to me and of course I love the price. I do splurge on expensive skincare and sometimes it’s worth it (though not always!), but this cleanser feels amazing and like the expensive stuff! The niacinamide is so moisturizing and product goes on smoothly. It doesn’t lather which I like, it feels very rich on the skin, but washes off cleanly. There’s little to no fragrance. I did have an issue with the pump not dispensing much at first, but after opening the top and swirling it around a little, it works perfectly. 1 pump is enough for my whole face, 2 pumps covers face, neck, and décolletage. Also shipped with no issue.

This is NOT a foaming cleanser and even says that ON THE BOTTLE, so everyone who is upset this isn’t foaming just missed that on the label and the description. This is a smooth and silky in texture cream cleanser that is so gentle, moisturizing, and feels like such a luxurious cleanser. It’s a good size and shape bottle, and last so long! I haven’t seen it in stores often so I’m really glad I can find it here. It’s the ONLY cleanser that hasn’t made my skin burn or sting. I have incredibly dry and sensitive skin, and have tried dozens of cleansers that are supposed to be for sensitive skin and have had no luck. I will continue to repurchase this as long as it’s made!

Great skin cleanser.

Very gentle and soothing for a cleanser It does not foam! So if you prefer a foamier cleanser then this is not the one for you. Like: No fragrance SOOTHING as heck, has never irritated me Skin still feels hydrated after cleansing I use it in the morning before my vitamin c and SPF, since I have a more robust night time skincare routine.

It's a must-have. Really like it.

This product is amazing!! It makes my skin very soft and goes dry it out. Usually with other products I need to put moisturiser on immediately but not with this. I’ve slowly seen my black heads clear and my skin tone become more even. I believe it’s unscented so good for sensitive skin. It cleans of my makeup perfectly and you only need to use a tiny amount. It doesn’t foam so it’s amazing! It’s excellent value for money!!
