BBQ Grill Plate (Small)

I have used a George Foreman electric indoor grill and a Cuisinart griddler for indoor cooking before getting this stovetop Iwatani grill. This grill is much easier to use because you just place it on top of your gas stove. It produces grilled food closer to an actual grill compared to the electric ones. This small version doesn’t hold a lot of food but quickly cooks thin cuts of meat and vegetables so you can eat and cook at the same time. I also tried two boneless chicken thighs which took up the whole cooking surface and they took linger to cook but turned out great. I recommend this small size version for an individual or couple. It is easy to clean because of the nonstick surface.

Finally got that charred/burnt crisp that I was looking for...... that my Techef BBQ grill (rated higher) never got. The nonstick is good, not sure how long it will last. The back of the grill plate is very challenging to clean and I'm struggling through this. It would be perfect if they made a stainless steel version, where I can use a steel brush to clean it and then pop it into the dishwasher.

This grill is amazing. I put just a small amount of vegetable oil on it to be safe before every use but at this point I doubt it even needs it! I've cooked both garlic chicken and honey soy chicken on this so far and everything that I thought would stick just flaked right off! I would recommend this to you if you are thinking about having your own kbbq at home.

I recently wanted to go camping and purchased a mini gas stove and didn’t want to use a frying pan to grill my meat and veggies so I got this. The grill works great giving it that grill marks like Korean BBQ. Cleaning was easy with soap and sponge. The grease catcher works well with water to catch most of the grease, you’ll have some minor oil splattering but easily cleaned.I highly recommend this if you have a gas stove or a portable gas stove like the one I’m using cause I really hate electric stoves for certain cooking method.

Works great but remember its teflon (the forever chemical) so use it, don't abuse it.. if you can find an alternative like stainless steal or cast iron, great.

A smaller size grill that works really well. I have a butane stove and it fits well, though doesn't lock on juts rides on top. It heats nicely, the water trough works perfectly, great easy to use grilled meats and veggies! Sponge with soap and hot water, no abrasive and you'll be good to go!

Happy with this grill plate. Size is large enough for 2 or 3 people. Item is made in Taiwan and quality seems good. No more grilling food on the kitchen stove top and serve. Can now grill and drink at the table.

I bought this Iwatani BBQ Grill Plate for our family's Japanese BBQ dinners, and it's been a fantastic addition. The plate is very convenient and suits any type of gas top, making it versatile for different cooking setups. The removable top is easy to clean, which is a big plus. One of the best features is that it doesn't produce much smoke, making it perfect for indoor table BBQs. I am using this one for a while, surface is not scratched, I say this item is great quality and I can use for long term!

The coating seem to resist after multiple use Thicker metal sheet, conducting heat correctly.
