Review: 4 for 4 - can't ask for better thasn that! - I have installed four Honeywell AC11201 Temperature Sensor for Floor Heating Applications, two each (one hooked-up, one backup) in two bathrooms, and all four have functioned as they should. When installing, they all tested at around 11kOhms and no problems with them being messed-up by the install. The AC11201 installs nicely into a Ditra-Heat system. The thermistor will push down between the plastic knobs on the Ditra-Heat, and dabs of hot-melt glue will hold the wire and thermistor in place while your scratch coat or tile is being placed.

**Q: what programmable thermostat works with this sensor**
A: The sensor is 100% compatible with the Honeywell/AUBE TH115-AF thermostat series, including:TH115-AF-120S (120V)TH115-AF-240S (240V)TH115-AF-GA (120/240V with 5mA GFCI)All of the above are used for electric floor heating applications.

**Q: Since this is a back up, and thery sell a two pack, can I use both back ups on one mat? unlikely it fails, but a nightmare, so why not (if doable?)**
A: Multiple sensors can be installed for one mat. However, only 1 sensor can be connected to the thermostat at any given time.  If the 1st sensor fails, disconnect it and connect the 2nd. Do not wire several sensors in parallel as it will give false temperature readings.

**Q: Description says this sensor has a 10 ft cable. manufacture site says that the ac112-01 sensor has a 15 ft cable. who is correct?**
A: The item I received was exactly 15 feet long, but the label said North American Sensor AC112-01. there was no mention of Honeywell on the packaging.

**Q: Can this be used with honeywell wi-fi 7-day programmable thermostat model #: rth6580wf1001/u1?**
A: You should be able to use it with any thermostat

I have installed four Honeywell AC11201 Temperature Sensor for Floor Heating Applications, two each (one hooked-up, one backup) in two bathrooms, and all four have functioned as they should. When installing, they all tested at around 11kOhms and no problems with them being messed-up by the install. The AC11201 installs nicely into a Ditra-Heat system. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is a back-up for the system.

I have put heated tile floors in both of our bathrooms. The system works well and I bought this on the suggestion of a friend to have a back-up in case one sensor stopped working. If you don't install a back-up sensor, you're going to be screwed if the first sensor dies. I installed this one about six inches away from the other and pulled the wire up the wall so that it is coiled in back of the control box with a note reminding me what it is. A friend of mine who also installed a heated tile floor is kicking himself for not thinking of a back-up sensor. I may never have to use it, but I'm glad it is there just in case.
