I took it to Apple and they were unwilling to change only the one key. They told me they would need to change the entire keyboard and with Apple care it was still going to be $300!! There was no damage to the hinge so I did not need to remove it. To hook the left side of the hinge I used a spring hook to lift the right side of the hinge to get clearance.
