Great little pad excellent for traveling
I wanted a small controller to take away either when traveling with work or on holiday. Using a stand with this controller means I can get set up for a gaming session pretty much anywhere. Compatible with switch and android no problems. Good quality and have been using on and off over a year and have had no issues. Battery life is good for the scenarios I use it for. Sure it's small and not as comfortable as my pro controller but to be able to throw in my case without taking up much room has really improved my set up and I'd say it's better than just using the joycons connected to the switch in terms of comfort

Great controllers
These are great controllers. Battery life incredible. Very versatile as the work on iPad Apple TV and Switch. Bought as they officially supported by Apple and use them to do two player local games on iPad and Apple TV. No lag on them at all. Can connect two to iPad and Apple TV. Good size for portability but not ridiculously small like the micro.

Very good control which feels similar to actual joy-cons
Bought this for when I go away and take my Switch with me (and it does fit in my switch case perfectly!) but have also found myself using it with my switch quite often if I play. Its surprisingly comfortable to use, at least for me, and I have quite big hands so I wasn't expecting that, and the face and shoulder buttons and the joysticks feel nice to use. The only reason I've given this a four star and not a five is because it takes a little bit of work to get connected up to your switch (although after that it does work fine), its just not the easiest and I can see it be a bit frustrating for some. The app also isn't great at all, but you don't NEED it if you want to use the controller with your phone. Overall really happy with this!

Not as good as I expected from 8bitdo
Not a bad controller. But also not great. I had a terrible time pairing this to my PC where it worked with some games and not with others. I think this was down to the left and right triggers not being analogue but just push to make switches the same as the bumper buttons. So I am returning this and trying something less expensive that looks like it does have analogue triggers.

Compact, comfortable, easy to use
Really comfortable controller to play games. I use an iPad and fancied playing some of the games that several players suggested you should use a controller for. I wanted something compact. I don’t like travelling with an Xbox remote, so I bought this. It works perfectly with the iOS software. It’s incredibly easy to set up.

A must have for Steam Deck users!
If you have a Steam Deck and looking for a portable mini controller that is somehow also comfortable, then look no further than the 8BitDo Lite 2. It can function to work on both the Nintendo Switch, Linux, PC and Steam Deck. I have tested it thoroughly for months and can confirm it has great build quality and no problems with the thumbsticks or buttons as of yet. Using it to play local multiplayer games on the go is a great option also.

Doesn't work
Switch doesn't recognise it so it's unusable.

I already had an 8BitDo Micro that I use with my Steam Deck and MBP for gaming while traveling. But...some games really need the analog sticks and more buttons than the Micro controller can provide. So I bought the Lite 2. And it's great! Compared to the Micro, It's a lot easier on the hands. The Micro is a great controller; it's tiny and light, which is always good for travel. But it's not something I'd recommend using for extended amounts of time. I have small hands as it is, but even for me, using the Micro for long periods cramps my hands. But the Lite 2 is much better. It's still significantly smaller than a regular console controller, but it feels much more natural. I had no problems using it to game for awhile. As far as setup goes, it was simple connecting it to my Steam Deck or MBP via Bluetooth or even via USB-C cable (though you might want a longer cable than what comes in the box). Both recognized it as a game controller immediately. Do keep in mind that the ABXY buttons are "built-in" to use the Nintendo layout, where A is the rightmost button and is "OK/confirm," while B is the bottom-most button and is "cancel/go back." I'm used to using Playstation controllers, where X is the bottom-most button and is "OK/confirm," and Circle is the rightmost button, which is "cancel/go back." Basically backwards of Nintendo. Same goes for X/Y and Square/Triangle; these are reversed. On the Steam Deck, there's a simple one click option in controller settings to reverse all that. But on other devices, you might have to remap the buttons in the system settings or game settings. You can't force or reconfigure the Lite 2 itself to NOT use the Nintendo layout. Just something to be aware of if you're like me. If you're unable to remap in software, it's not a huge deal and you'll get used to using the Nintendo layout real quick. Overall, it's a solid buy.
