Excellent Product!
Very tasty - I have added it to chili & it was very good; I add a teaspoon to my taco meat after adding the taco seasoning & it added a very good & deeper taste. I will buy again.

CHILI HELPER
This base is very bold and really adds a nice kick to your chili. I only used about a spoonful, and it took my chili to the next level. The flavor was remarkably good. Unless you make chili often, this container should last you quite a while. I’m planning to experiment with other uses as well, and once I do, I’ll be sure to provide an update. I highly recommend it and would definitely purchase again.

Specialized use only
The one thing I like to do with these ‘Better Than Bouillon’ bases is to simply make a cup of bouillon with them to sample them at their most basic application. I wasn’t overly impressed with this flavor.Firstly - this Chili based bouillon has a TON of solids, which in and of itself is fantastic. The sad thing is that in its simplest form - a cup of bouillon - all these solids (where ALL the flavor is) settle immediately to the bottom of the cup, leaving the liquid at the top as a bland, unremarkable liquid. It’s only when you get to the bottom of the cup - where all those bits of delicious chili peppers have settled to - that you begin to discern just how luscious this flavor is.So - in its most basic form - a bouillon - I’d give one out of 5 stars. All the flavor is at the bottom of the cup, and that’s NOT how a bouillon should behave.However - as a soup base or as an inclusion to another dish, I believe this Better Than Bouillon flavor is QUITE remarkable. It has a powerful but not over powerful flavor that would complement any dish it was included in. But - in its base form as a cup of bouillon - blech.
