Heating the phone up.. easy.. using the thin metal slimjim like thing.. easy.. distinguishing the layer of glass from the layer of digitizer.. not so easy.. I went under too far, and when I didn't see the tool appear after the black border goes clear.. I knew I done did messed up.. lol. It was just a little section, but it was fatal. A new digitizer is approximately $150, and that's about what a certified refurbished S9+ runs. So I went the easier route. It was definitely worth a try, but I done did went and broked it. This is an interesting process to say the least, and if you can do it..
