Their customer service was genuinely a pleasure to deal with (which is a bit of a miracle when it comes to customer service reps, but they were great!) They don't weigh too much. Even our younger ones (3, 5 and 7) can carry their own in their hiking packs. I don't often write reviews, but this product turned out to be such a blessing for us on our recent trip that I knew I needed to come back and share. If you're on the fence, it's more than worth the price. In the picture it may look like the net lays low, but it doesn't, this is because once the person gets in and weighs the hammock down the net stays up higher.
