They are fine for most vegtables but the holes are too large for rice. Sizing is fine with one "small' and one "medium" included, They do save some storage space when collapsed, but the two supplied sizes don't stack very well so as a pair take up significant space. It would be nice if the size of one or the other was adjusted to allow for compact stacking when collapsed. The thin hard plastic frame includes two handles which are effective, although are fairly small. They are easy to rinse clean when fully extended, and open/close easily with moderate pressure.
