Compared to buying directly from John Deere suppliers, this set saved a few bucks. I was initially concerned about the set not having a "Back Plate" for added security and durability. That turned out to be a non issue. My JD is a small compact 1025R. If I'm planning on lifting anything that would require a back plate, my tractor simply wouldn't have the power in the hydrologic line to do the job. Overall, I'm impressed. I've used them numerous times for hooking fallen trees and dragging them. They helped with the neighbors car sinking in the mud. An all around handy addition and well worth the purchase. I am glad I've got them. I used a step up bit for drilling the required holes in the bucket followed by some touch up paint for the bare metal in the hole. After, I applied a thin layer of grease around the bolt and under the mounting plate. Never hurts to keep the moisture away. The whole process took about 20 mins.
