Grounding it to turntable, I assumed is what you are asking. There is a grounding screw on the unit. Just hook the ground wire from turntable to it. Griuning to other devices would be the same

Can it be connected via rca to a mixer to produce sound from a turntable? i have my power speakers connected to the mixer already.

Is there an on and off switch to cut the power when not using. It would be good to leave hot 24 hours day.

My experience is too leave it on all the time because it often malfunctions when I turn is OF and On again. But I have now given up trying to find a preanp that does not constantly amplifier 'noise' and so I hooked up al my audios/AVs to a switch box then to mt stero - the sound comes from my stereo not my TV. And the only DVD player that works right in a Sony although its controls are reverse of convention. Sorry for the errors - I'm mostly blind.
