Decent cheap rod
Not a bad rod for the price. Works great for saltwater fishing.

Waiting for spring/summer
Fishing rods look wonderful, bought 2 for both my grandsons for Christmas. Can't give a 5 star because we have not used them....waiting for the summer sun. If everything goes well and they work the way we hope, I will return with a followup comment.

I caught several Bonnet head sharks with it.

Rod good, reel very bad
Rod is lightweight and helps you cast far without fatigue. Reel on the other hand is not so good at all. The bail gets stuck on the the spool after casting causing you to force the bail over it which can greatly affect your line retrieve. Rod is good for Money but I think it's cheaper because of the poor design on the reel.

Great rod, junk reel.
The rod itself is a great cheap rod, but the reel is extremely low quality. Functional, but cheap junk. These rods can be found for about $25 and the reel is worth about $10 so the combo is over-priced. You're better off buying just the rod for $25 and putting a good reel on it yourself.
