**Q: Can anyone rate the APP?**
A: The app is fairly basic, with few tweaks - just 3 EQ preset (and only one of those is really for music).  That needs to be expanded.  I found you really need the app to properly pair the Willen with your device (phone, tablet, etc.).  And maybe because the Willen is a Bluetooth LE (low energy) device, when you pair not, your phone or tablet's Bluetooth settings will actually show TWO WIllen's connected - one will say "WILLEN", the second will say "WILLEN (LE)".  This is slightly weird, but not a deal-breaker.

The app must be used to pair this with another Marshall speaker.  But unlike some other products (Bose for instance0, the pairing is NOT in stereo - it is simply two speakers playing the same single channel (what Marshall calls "StackMode").

Other than that, I found little use for the Marshall app beyond the initial setup.
