The Batman [DVD] [2022]

I went to a prescreening of this movie before it was released and it was well done. Great ensemble of actors, I loved Collin Farrell's portrayal of Penguin, accent and all. Can't wait to get this.

This is not coded for North America and does make you to switch regions in order to play it. Otherwise it’s exactly the movie I wanted.

Can not use this DVD in the United States - it is only compatible for region 2 - Europe, Asia, Africa etc

The DVD can't play in the USA. Looks like it came overseas and can only be played in Europe and Japan.

They have taken the Nolen version of Batman and made him a monochromatic darker psycho character. The voice track goes from too quiet to too loud for no reason. Lost interest in the character development, then the plot and then the movie.

This DVD is not compatible with any DVD players. I'm really upset

Not a kids film. Very dark. No joy. Violence. Depressing. Such a great film. As Batman should always be. If you like grim dark violent depressing films this is for you. Beautifully filmed.

Probablement l'un des plus novateurs BATMAN. Le duo Pattinson / Kravitz fonctionne du tonnerre et les seconds rôles sont tous intelligemment creusés ! Donc un film à voir d'urgence pour ceux qui seraient passés à coté .

Being a huge fan of Christopher Nolan's masterpieces, I watched this Batman reboot with some trepidation. The new direction seemed like it would be a fresh approach, but could it really compare? That trilogy made Batman feel more realistic than all of the other outings (which I did not like), so what could this bring to the table? After watching this film (and getting utterly addicted to the beautifully haunting soundtrack in the process...), I think this film is an outstanding depiction of my favourite crimefighter. Even more so than with the previous trilogy this feels less like another superhero film, and more like a detective film which happens to have a hero in it. The character arc is tangible, like watching a moody teen grow up, which hints at a more mature character in the future films. I am a self-confessed film fan but it generally takes a few years to get around to watching a film again, so that it still feels fresh and enjoyable. As with Dune, this film was so good that I have seen it twice within the last three months and still feel the urge to watch it again. It may not be perfect, but I absolutely loved it. Outstanding work, and proof that the Hollywood machine can actually excel if they bother to try!
