The finest were the exact same model but bought from Wolverine as they couldn't be found on desertcart. I worked for a lumber mill in North Idaho and during that time there was a lot of work done on walkways made of expanded metal, lots of water and mud and lots of ice and snow. After three years the soles were worn only half way and still very secure to the boot and the boots were still water tight. The lace eyes are made of plastic and the laces never wore through, the laces never broke either. The boots have a good heal, a necessity for climbing ladders with ice built up on the rungs. The only downfall is the inside padding wore out and I didn't notice till my feet began to hurt. Pretty good for the price. By the way, they wore like a tennis shoe since the very first day on both the old pair and the new pair. Review: Great Boot - I have worn Wolverine boots now for over 30+ years..
