I was surprised when I received it. I've had several Seiko diver's watches over the last 50 years. They have all been "beefy", specifically the self-winding watches certified to 300 meters. I've never been deeper than 100. Having this one certified to 200 meters should be more than enough. I appreciate how much lighter the watch is. In addition, timekeeping is accurate. You never have to worry about keeping the self-winding watch moving. This watch is the way to go if you want a good looking tough classic timepiece. **Q: Is the bracelet adjustable?** A: The Seiko Prospex watch bracelet is adjustable. There are two ways to adjust. Micro adjustments can be made with the latching mechanism by moving the pin setting along the pre-drilled hole positions. Larger adjustments are made in more traditional fashion by removing or adding links. I would suggest that an experienced jeweler make this adjustment unless you already have the necesssary tools. **Q: Can you tell the time at night? is there a light or do the hands "glow in the dark"?** A: The dial face and hands are illuminating, like any quality diver’s should. Seiko is one of the best divers watches when it comes to easy reading in the dark, and it’s solar powered! I can see my Seiko Prospex Solar better than I can my Tag Heuer Aqua Racer. It is a rugged and attractive utility watch meant for daily use. I still dive and have put this watch to the test. This is the third Seko dive watch I have owned. My previous two were self-winding automatics. This watch has the classic divers look of my very first Seko I received when I graduated from BUDS back in the 60's. I still have it but no longer keeps accurate time even after being "overhauled" at the factory. The solar charging is a game changer. I no longer have to wonder if my watch is accurate. It only requires a short period of solar exposure to ensure the internal battery is charged at least every six months. Since I'm outdoors most of the time, this is ceases to be a concern. This watch weighs very little compared to the traditional self-winding divers. It won't feel like an anchor on your wrist. I hardly notice its there. The crystal sits just below the bezel which helps deflect potential scratches that come from heavy everyday use. I bought this one recently as it was on sale for a price I couldn’t say no to. It has rapidly become one of the favorites in my collection. I was really amazed at the quality and accuracy of this watch. The SNE591 has my favorite bezel on any watch I own. It just looks so well made and it clicks smoothly and easily compared to others I own. I set it right out of the box and I haven’t had to reset the time since then. It has remained “spot on” to the second.
