Berkley FireLine Superline Fishing Line

I’ve been using Fireline for years! This was a great value for the money! I don’t use it for fishing. So I wouldn’t know about castability. It is smooth yes and the color accuracy is spot on. Knot strength is good…you don’t want to get this stuff tangled…it will knot and you won’t get it out…lol. I love the 6 pound because of the thickness. I use it for beading instead of thread as it holds up much better than the other beading threads on the market

I use this Fireline wire for creating beaded wrap bracelets. It's the same as the craft brands that are sold but less expensive.

I have been jewelry-making for over five years now. I have tried many different types of threads and cords for my projects, but I always come back to Berkley 4 and 6-pound Fireline fuzed superline. I feel safe to know my jewelry will hold together for years to come. I mainly bead with the smoked-colored fireline, but if the beads are clear, I will use the crystal fireline. With the 4 and 6-pound line, you can make several passes through the crystals. This ensures a stronger and more secure hold on the crystals. which can have a sharp edge.

this 4 lb. FireLine is perfect for beading, exceptionally strong, fits through small beading needle eyes, runs smoothly through leather, backings, etc. and doesn't tangle. I did buy a fishing line cutter to use because scissors don't work as well to cut the line cleanly. When sewing, the line (as thread) has some stiffness - it takes a bit of adjusting to get used to its behaviour, but less of a hassle than thread that twists or tangles or knots.

In my opinion this is the best line out there. You can’t cast lures a mile!!!

Great line! No memory! Very strong! Great sensitivity! Great price! Works better than braid without the easy knotting. It's very thin, and like braid, it can wear on your equipment. It also tends to break down fairly quick, so I pull off 20 to 50' each season to keep it fresh.

I love this for bead weaving projects. It's the perfect thickness for the majority of the beads I use. Very high quality

Price may seem steep but after paying $20 each for the little spools this lasts me forever for my beadwork
