A surprisingly mild gin, I love most Amarula drinks, I took a chance as this wasn’t one of their cream type drinks and was pleasantly surprised.

Gin is my tipple of choice and I’ve tried many over the years. This is a very, very nice one. It’s smooth but bright and clean and quite tart / sharp. Would obviously taste far better if lying on a Maldivian beach late afternoon as the sun is going down but, hey ho, still tastes good at home on a winters night with my dog and a rowdy friend shouting at BGT…. Highly recommend this….

Many years ago, in Botswana, I tasted a home-made clear spirit distilled from the marula fruit. But I couldn’t find anything about it when I got home. The Amarula cream liqueur was nice, but too rich and sweet for my tastes. Amarula gin is a great blend of juniper, spice, and citrus. The marula flavour appears as a pleasant, lingering, aftertaste. It sends me back to that afternoon in Botswana, awakening pleasant memories.

I really enjoy Amarula (the creamy liquer) so I thought I'd give this a try as I prefer gin. The flavour is really nice, not sweet but distinctive and very enjoyable. Pair with a good quality tonic and this will become a firm favourite. Price is reasonable for a decent bottle of gin. Enjoy!

+ geeignet als Weihnachtsgeschenk + optisch ansprechend + gut verpackt + der Geschmack ist ebenfalls überzeugend fruchtig + Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist TOP + man unterstützt durch den Kauf auch noch Projekte o kommt lose (zum Verschenken ist eine extra Verpackung notwendig) Fazit: Die Beschenkten freuten sich, wir tranken im Anschluss circa 1/3 der Flasche mit Crushed Ice, Orangenscheiben und Schweppes Tonic und es war superlecker. Klare Kaufempfehlung.
