The Atom x5 isn't going to win any races for speed, but I really like that it doesn't have any fans and has a great screen. Since it's so light and a bit smaller than its beefier brother (the Pro), it can pull double-duty as a reading device (ex. Kindle, that website you wanted to read on the bus, etc.). I previously owned a Galaxy Tab A 10.1 with stylus, but it wasn't really flexible enough for what I wanted. With this device, I can do a LOT more than a standard Android or iOS tablet. I've run everything from Firefox to Minion Run to IntelliJ. If you don't mind being a bit patient, you may be pleasantly surprised. Couple it with its excellent keyboard case and a stylus (both of which you can get pretty cheap if you don't mind a refurb), and you've got an ultra-portable laptop that can do quite a bit. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome surface - like new as described *by R***P on July 17, 2020* first of all, i wasnt expecting much since i was buying a used product and at a low price.. but this item was well loved and was well taken care of. almost no scratch on the screen or the body and it is really in very good condition. works really well without any hitch. really good product!!! and it comes with original keyboard too.. nice!!!! ### ⭐⭐ Get an iPad... *by G***S on December 3, 2017* My Surface arrived on time, and was brand new in a sealed box. It has 4gb of RAM which is surprising since I thought the 64gb models had only 2gb. Nice surprise.But all in all, unless you absolutely need a PC, I would get an Android tablet or an iPad instead. This thing looks like a tablet but it's not one. As soon as I powered it on, it said I had 153 updates waiting, and it took all day for those to finish.Then it said I couldn't get security updates until I updated to the most current Windows version. That had been going on for 2 days now, still not fully updated.And if you use the Surface while it's plugged in, the battery won't charge.
