I've ONLY ever washed my set by hand. I cant currently review long-term use for current set, but as long as materials to make dish set haven't changed, I'm sure with proper care, these will out last me. I'm currently middle-aged lol. I will update should anything change. So currently I'm giving a 5 star review and recommendation. *in regards to color: If you're looking for absolute pure white, this is not. Against solid white there is a very slight pink hue in this set. However it's so slight and with its crackled appearance, and with my distressed farmhouse kitchen theme, its NOT a big deal to me.
