Very well made with quality materials for the price. It works very quietly and smoothly. Looks great on my bedside table, but somewhat bigger than expected.

Excellent quality and looks very smart with the choice I made having the black carbon finish with red stitching which goes by either mains charger included or two 1.5 AA batteries not included which I’ve opted for in use , very quiet rotating mechanism and simple to use and does exactly what I wanted to do highly recommended for the price too

The winder is incredibly quiet and looks amazing. It is incredibly easy to use as all you do is place your watch in and switch it on. It works for two minutes then stops for six which is energy saving and a good thing. The quality of the box is great especially when you factor in the price of the item. The only reason I have given the is 4 stars is the space inside is a little snug for someone who has a larger wrist. I find that even with the watch holder’s extended strap my watch is still not held in place and because of this it brushes against the clear plastic window. I now have a minor scuff mark on the window where my watch rubs against it. However if I place the microfibre cloth between my watch and the watch holder I can just get it to work without scuffing the window. For what you could pay for such an item and the price of this, it is still worth every penny. Even with the minor issue with internal space.

Beautiful watch box for the money. Nice size, looks good and has kept time perfectly. I've not noticed any noise from it, unless you're up really close to it. I'd definitely recommend this product.

I was not expecting a watch I bought to be a self winding, should read the descriptions better I guess! it was I just liked the look of it. SO needed a watch winder and looked around and this one and reviews were positive. Plus quiet and it really is, barely a noise. Keeps the time really well, the quality is really good as feels substantial. The options of batter or mains is really great option to have, and ease of use pop watch in and with batteries in or mains just turn on and your watch is spinning around. Great product if you need a watch winder.

I'm sure that this winder works with other brands of watch (I'm guessing they wouldn't sell many if they didn't!) but it didn't work with either of my two Seikos, the older one of which is a 'real' clockwork watch and the other which uses the Kinetic mechanism to charge a battery - at least, that's how I think it works. I think the problem is that this winder quite gently rotates the watch for six minutes and then rests for a further six minutes before starting again. This may be OK with some watches but Seiko says that if a Kinetic watch has been allowed to wind down completely (as both of mine were) the watches should be moved around quite vigorously at first which should be enough for normal movement while wearing the watch to complete the winding over a period of time. Unfortunately, this winder's gentle action will certainly get the watch going but not enough to survive the the six minute break between winds! I read a few more reviews of watch winders here on Amazon and discovered some alternatives that reviewers have recommended because they work with Seikos. I have therefore returned this winder and am about to order one of them. However, if you have a watch that will work with this winder's method of operation you will find that this winder is very nicely made and would look good on any bedside table and it is so quiet in operation that it will not keep you awake at night.
