I have a bad iron deficiency, due to my diet and my acid reflux. Last year I decided to stop taking Omeprazole after 5 months since it can start to affect the body after continuous use and switched over to supplements to help with my sensitive stomach. I did my research and found that Gentle Iron is best for those who have acid reflux; like its name, it is a gentle iron supplement. You HAVE to take it the way it is recommended for the best results. I take Magnesium Citrate and Melatonin at night before bed after dinner; in the morning I take a Vitamin D3 supplement with yogurt and coffee and then I wait 1 - 3 hours and take this Gentle Iron supplement. For the best results, you have to take this on an empty stomach and water (Tea, Coffee, Milk and Multivitamins with calcium and magnesium can affect how your body absorbs Iron). I have gotten the best results following this routine and haven't had any flare ups. I am extremely happy to have found an Iron supplement that works with my body and not against it!!

These don’t exactly upset my stomach but I feel somewhat queasy, even though I take them with meals but they don’t cause heartburn like SlowFe did. Hopefully, they will increase my ferritin levels.

Definitely works, my ferritin went from 39 to 78 in about 6 months. Hair texture has changed, felt hard and brittle before but has become softer now.
