Auch wenn es ein Einsteiger-Buggy als Kinderspielzeug ist, werden noch weitere Kosten nötig um damit zu fahren.1. Kugellagersatz etwa 9-12 Euro2. Lenk-Servo etwa 10-20 Euro3. Fernsteuerung + Empfänger etwa 40-80 Euro4. Fahrakku etwa 20 Euro5. Ladegerät etwa 40-70 Euro6. Senderakku oder Batterien 5-15 Euro7. Ladekabel etwa 10 Euro pro Stück8. Werkzeug (mind. Kreuzschraubenzieher) etwa 15 EuroEs gibt schon gute 1/10 Basher-Buggys komplett fahrfertig ohne Akkus und Lader für etwa 250 Euro, z.B. Traxxas Slash 2WD. Was macht den Grasshopper also so besonders? Es ist ein Tamiya! Wer einmal eine Bauanleitung gesehen hat, weiß was Qualität ist. Schon der Zusammenbau soll Spaß machen. Dank bereits metallikgrün lackierter Hartplastik Karosserie macht der Grasshopper auch in der Vitrine eine gute Figur. Kinder brauchen Hilfe bei der Elektrik, Montage der Hinterreifen und bekleben der Karosserie. Ansonsten ist der Aufbau sensationell einfach. Das Fahrverhalten ist dem entsprechend. Starrachse hinten und die Federung ohne Öldämpfer und mit "Kugelschreiber-Federn". Deshalb auch der 380er Motor mit kleinem Ritzel für etwa 19 Km/h. Wer mit über 30 Km/h unterwegs sein möchte braucht ein upgrade mit 540er Motor und muss den "Klingelbeutel" nochmal öffnen:1. Motor 540er etwa 10 - 25 Euro2. 18er Motorritzel etwa 10 - 15 Euro3. Imbusschlüssel etwas 5 -10 Euro4. Optional Öldämpfer 20 - 50 Euro (ich habe z.B. original Tamiya Frog-Aludämpfer verwendet)Wer Spaß am Tuning hat, sollte lieber gleich zum Tamiya Grasshopper II greifen von 2017. Dann bekommt man auch leichter Ersatzteile.
