You don't need the GPS or the current sensor to use this. Programing is easy and fast Review: No Way to Calibrate ESC via the EagleTree GUI. HARD PASS! - It's pretty ridiculous. If you're used to Beta/Clean/Raceflight and using the calibration screen to zero all your ESCs in, forget it with this FC. There's literally no calibration screen in the EagleTree GUI. If you search around for others actually using this FC to fly a quad, you'll find very very few and I believe this is the reason. If you're using a nano RX on SBUS, there's is no way to use the Throttle channel to pre-set your ESCs before soldering them in. The price of this is insane considering this glaring omission in the software. Build is relatively easy and the setup Wizard is simple, but what use are all those things if the simple task of calibrating the ESCs is so convoluted and difficult. The "workaround" is to use a passthrough and BLHeli Suite to manage the calibration. This only works if you can get it to cooperate and function correctly. I've been trying for 3 days and still have not had any luck. I originally started with KISS ESCs, replaced them with BL Heli ESCs in order to give the passthrough a try. . . nothing is working. The uVector is $99, GPS is ~$60, PBD w/current sensor is another $20. . . for nearly $200, I'd expect a very simple setup. . . and this isn't is. Wish I'd just bought a an F4 Omni and loaded ChiBios Arducopter on it. I could've already had this thing flying by now.
