I recently installed this Cosmo range hood in my newly remodeled kitchen and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. The design is sleek and modern, it works very efficiently at removing smoke and odors, and the installation process was straightforward. The stainless steel finish looks beautiful and really upgraded the overall look of my kitchen. Highly recommend this product if you’re looking for quality and style at a great price!

It is a beautiful, well designed, well engineered range hood. Very attractive, easy ductless conversion and installation and quite easy to clean. I am impressed by the gauge of the metal used and how modern it looks. The complaint I have is not against the item or the manufacturer, but Amazon. I was sent a returned item with all hardware, and accessory metal parts (duct covers, damper flaps) missing. OK, hardware is just screws. For duct covers I bought bits of sheet metal and was able to fabricate a cover attached with metal tape. (total cost about $18) But for over $150 retail, you'd think Amazon wouldn't send you a returned item that wasn't checked in thoroughly. Unfortunately, this is for a new house build and we didn't open the package until the electricians came to install after the return window passed. I have reached out to the manufacturer and hope they at least send me a filter

Excellent air movement, clean lines, classy look, five simple push buttons for three fan speeds and light on/off. My only negative is the size and placement of the LED light; it’s a 1”x3” lens at the very back of the underside, very close to the wall. It works as a nightlight but isn’t much use for seeing what’s cooking on the stovetop. Moving the light to the front and making it brighter would earn the missing star.

The light is dimmer than most are, but I mainly use it as a kitchen night light. My husband loves the amount of light it gives. The fan speeds are perfect. My husband likes that it can be changed to use a duct. All in all a solid buy with a great price.

The previous reviews others gave were informative. I felt I knew what I was getting into. Those reviews set my expectations and were on point. It's very slim and more modern looking than any others out there for a much more affordable price. I just wasn't willing to pay allot for a fan with light. Price gets an A+. I didn't expect high quality due to other reviews and mine arrived with what would appear to be dents, but it was actually a tiny bit warped where the screw assembly was applied on the top. Not sure if this product is being assembled with a power tool, but it looks like too much torque is being used. This warping however was on the top and once installed, could not be seen. The fan seemed a little loud on the third setting but is also quite powerful. Not sure what everyone is cooking to need that much suction, but doubt I'll ever use it on the highest speed. Lights are great. The push button controls don't seem very sturdy and were not quite aligned with the holes. I did not vent mine to the outside and got charcoal filters. Do not get the recommended filters where it says "people also purchased this". It's the wrong filters. Filters do not come with it and must be purchased separately. I also cut the plugin off the back and hard wired it in. It's pretty light weight and easy to install with a helper. OVERALL, I really like it and seems to work great.

Very good hood for the money. 3 speed adjustable fan, which is quiet and fairly good air moving capability, nice LED light and was easy to mount.

For the price this thing looks premium and works okay. Merely okay, suction isn't great but for some grease trapping it's "good enough". My major faults with this unit are how it is installed undercabinet. There are a number of issues with the install 1: The electrical cord comes out flush from the back of the unit. if installed underneath cabinets this means it cannot be installed flush to the wall, it has to be installed forward an inch so the cord can clear up into the cabinet. 2: For under-cabinet installation all it has is 4 screws that go straight up. These screws are very soft and break easily if they bind at all even with pre-drilling the holes. The screws are also so long that they stick into the cabinet. Screws are NOT an acceptable way to install this underneath a cabinet, it just doesn't work well. It's also incredibly difficult to hold it in place and drill the screws in place. The rear two screws are inside the unit so a long screwdriver or drill cannot fit. you have to use a stubby philips screwdriver to make it work. 3: There is an inherent design flaw to the unit for suction. There are holes in it for rear drywall mounting AND top mounting. They are pre-cut and do not have punchouts. This means if you have it mounted under a cabinet it will just try to suck air from the holes in the back since they're wide open instead of through the filter. I covered the holes with some ducttape (pictured) which helped the suction a little bit. 4: The lights on the rear of the unit just aren't in a good spot to shine on the cooktop. The units with front-mounted lights do a far better job. FOR PROPER INSTALLATION UNDERNEATH A CABINET IGNORE THE PROVIDED INSTRUCTIONS. 1: Mark your holes on the cabinet where they need to be and drill them 2: Drop BOLTS (not screws) from within the cabinet down 3: Secure the unit to the bolts with a washer and nut, wing nuts are easier to hand screw. Photo attached of one type I happened to have that worked well. Overall: If you want cheap and good enough, this is your unit. However if you can spend a bit more you will likely get better install and better suction with a nicer unit.

I recently purchased this item and so far I am very please with it. For its decent price it looks really good and fairly easy to install.
