Jolly Pets Bounce-n-Play Dog Toy Ball, 8 Inches/Large, Blueberry, (Model: 2508 BB)

I bought this ball for my energetic corgi. Daisy loves pushing and chasing the ball up and down the hills at the dog park. She even gets to pick it up & carry it even though the ball is almost as big as she is. It's a heavy duty ball and will last a long time. We've left it outside all winter here in the Midwest and it's still strong.

We just received this ball today, and immediately took it out to the yard to see how our puppers would like it. All the way headed out, she was going crazy trying to take the ball from us - she LOVES her toys. Our dog and past balls: We have an 80 lb plab (pit lab mix), and she loves all toys, but has a bad habit of puncturing normal balls. The only other type we've had work for her are the solid kong balls, but they're far too hard for indoor play or bouncing in a crowded area (our cars are parked right by the back yard). What we wanted: We were looking for something like a small kids kickball, that we could kick around and bounce around but that she could still pick up with her mouth. Product Specifics: Size: This 6 inch is a little larger than what we were looking for. We spent about 30 minutes laughing hysterically as she pushed the ball around with her mouth open, trying to figure out how to pick it up. She eventually did, but it's not easy. Durability: The ball is made of a hard material, about 1/4 inch thick. There is a hole in the ball, which shows a hollow interior. It seems like it will hold up well as long as we don't leave her alone with it for long periods, as with unattended access she would quickly use the hole to tear it open. Bounce: The ball doesn't have much bounce, a purposeful bounce will bring it to about waist height. However, it bounces well off objects, and doesn't fly off crazily like the solid kong balls. Smell: The entire box had a blueberry smell, which was pleasant. It immediately got her attention. We'll see how well it lasts, but it seems to be baked in with the plastic, as opposed to being added after the fact, which is a good sign. Color: The ball is a bright light blue, which is good for dogs. Due to the spectrum of colors dogs see, red balls tend to blend in with the grass, as reds and yellows are seen in the same range as green. This being a blue, it stands out easily for her, which is what we wanted. Conclusion: This ball is amazing, even if it is bigger than we wanted originally. We're going to be buying one of the smaller ones, but I'm sure this will stay a favorite.

My dog absolutely loves this ball. We play with it in the snow outside. It's heavy enough that it takes a beating..and still stays nice. We'll see how long before he pops it..

Seems pretty well made, has held up for a few days with out any damage. Good size for larger breeds.

**Update: STILL THE BEST PEPTO BIS-BALL EVER! It took 5 months of daily abuse by multiple dogs since we brought it with us to the dog park every day before it gave an inch. My girl finally put a hole in it after 30 minutes of constant pitty chewing. But here's the thing - even with a fist sized gaping hole in the ball, it still works! It kept it's shape, I can still kick it for her and she almost likes it better now because she can grab it easier and really thrash it around like only a terrier breed can. It also ends up looking like she has a really big clown nose on and it makes me laugh. I busted out the back up ball and she keeps going back to the busted one! I have this ball in every size with spares on standby. ** We now have a beloved pepto bis-ball. My pitty can chase it, pick it up because it can be "flattened", carry it and roll over it. Her golden doodle bestie actually dribbles it with his people paws. It's durable enough for my power chewer's daily abuse and won't pop. I'm buying more.

My 7 month old border collie loves footballs, but every football you gave him he would pop within a couple of minutes, so we took a chance on this ball, and wow what can I say, it's brilliant although no longer smooth from all the biting he has done on it, it is still up and in shape, this is the best dog toy I have brought for him, and I will definitely be buying more in the future.

Vom ersten Tag an wurde der Ball von meiner Hündin gut angenommen. Wir haben ihn nun schon 1,5 Jahre, obwohl er stark bespielt wird und das ganze Jahr im Garten liegt, ist er bisher unkaputtbar. Wenn ich könnte würde ich 10 Sterne geben.

I originally bought two Jolly Balls in Australia about five years ago for my two Germany Shepard's for play time, after spending many dollars on various products which most of the time lasted a few games. Falco and Hetty have spent many hours enjoying playing ball, so I was very disappointed when I found out I would not buy the Jolly Ball from a Pet Store in Australia anymore. The Jolly Ball is such a durable product, but even the best have their use by date. I did many searches on the internet and lucky for me I found the Jolly Ball through Amazon. Thank goodness. They are still using the originally Jolly Balls I purchased, but are on their way out, so I am extremely happy that I spares for them.
