Good for sensitive, dry, and itchy scalps
When I started using this serum, I was also making dietary and lifestyle changes, so it's hard to say that the regrowth I see is 100% from the serum. I'm rating it 5 stars for a few reasons; one being that I've struggled with androgenetic alopecia and telogen effluvium since I was 20. When I compare pictures of my hair from 6 months ago when I started using this serum, it is a big change. This makes me feel like the serum is pretty effective, as I've tried so many different serums, oils, and supplements with no results previously. This serum is suited for sensitive or allergy prone skin and helps a lot with the itchiness from how dry my scalp is. I'm not super precise with the applicator, and I do use a lot more than what you are supposed to - that being said, the serum gets in my roots too and makes them really soft whereas my hair usually tends to be brittle and frizzy. Is it expensive? Yes, but I see the value and results.

Overall positive. Would have been great 10 years ago
So I’ll start by saying the areas of balding I deal with are typical (top of my head, hairline) for many man, and likely too thinned out/bald for any product to materially help, no matter how effective it is. That just means having realistic expectations of anything. I did not expect to look like I did 20 years ago up there! That said, I think this has been a positive for me after a month of use. I don’t really notice, but my wife thinks the areas on top of my head look less bald. I wish I took before-and-after photos, but she may be right. Again, it’s just that an area that’s about 4” in diameter with a few strands in it will still look basically bald even with two or three times the hair. What I have definitely noticed is that the areas with hair seem to be growing a bit faster, but also darker. I’ve been salt-and-pepper up top for a while now, leaning more and more toward salt, but my hair does look blacker than it was. That could be a function of it just being healthier and with better hydration (which is noticeable – it’s not as brittle and dry feeling, yet not oily), so maybe it isn’t actually less gray, but it certainly looks less gray. The product isn’t cheap, for sure. Subscribe & Save helps. But, also, it lasts a while. I found that one pipette-worth works well for me (since I’m not losing much into the hair, allowing the product to really get to my scalp), so that could be why, but I’m about 40% of the way through the bottle after a month. Also, I used Rogaine way back in the day, and it didn’t work for me, but did cause lots of dandruff. Lots. This has had zero negative effects. It’s easy to apply, doesn’t smell weird, doesn’t cause flaking for me, etc. And I don’t worry that I’ve got some weird chemical on my skin, and can just rinse it off with soap and water easily. Overall, I’m positive on this. I wish it did work miracles, but for reasonable expectations, I’d say it’s a good thing.

Helped with shedding
I've got hormonal imbalances, and therefore also vitamin deficiencies. Because of this, I'm very prone to heavy shedding, and my hairline is pretty thin. Since I started using this serum, my hair shedding has decreased dramatically. I usually detangle my hair in the shower because all the shedding caused my hair to knot easily and there would be just endless hair everywhere. Now, I maybe have less than 10 strands come out with daily shampooing. I haven't seen much in terms of regrowth, but with the results so far I'm optimistic. Plus, I really like that this serum is super lightweight. A lot of hair growth serums are either really runny or oily, which make them annoying to use so I'm never consistent with them. This one is really lightweight and absorbs to the scalp quick, so I don't get it all over my face or feel like my scalp is heavy or oily. The dropper also has a narrow tip to make application way more precise. You also don't need much product either, so this bottle is gonna last a while. That aspect kinda makes up the price for me, since I won't be running out anytime soon. I did get mine on sale, but I can see this lasting a couple of months. It's also got 2.2 oz, which is pretty generous. But it does kinda hurt the pocket initially which is why it gets 4 stars. But otherwise, I think this might be my all time favorite hair thinning serum.

Caused horrible flaking
I really wanted to like this but it left my scalp dry, irritated, abs flaking horribly. I tried for a few weeks with persistent symptoms. As soon as I stopped using it my scalp stopped itching and started to heal.

My morning routine secret
I turned 30 this year and started to notice a gradual decline in my hair including thinning, grey, and receding hairline. I wanted to be proactive about it and gave this product a try. It’s easy to use as about one vile of product thought the scalp and especially the hairline is enough. The bottle is very nice and the pump is amazing. Helps keep the product in the tube instead of around the sides so you can target the serum to your scalp and not on your hair shaft. In the am before brushing my hair, I squeeze the product along my hairline and on my part and then using the remaining product through my scalp from front to back. I then take my hair brush with the massaging tips (see photo) to distribute the serum throughout. It doesn’t leave a sticky residue and can be used on wet or dry hair. It’s so easy and has become part of my routine that I dont even think about it until o started to see a difference. I have more and more baby hairs sprouting already along my hairline and when I blow dry my hair I can see more baby hair throughout my hair. It does take a while for hair to grow but like watching water to boil you just got to let it grow and works its magic. I’ve used about 1/10 of the product with 16 uses so far for an estimate of how long the product lasts. I will definitely continue to use this and now want to try more products from this line. It’s definitely worth trying and I can’t wait to see more results with more use.
