Excellent for brushing up on Trigonometry, after taking a pause from college

I'm obviously learning trig, so take this with that in mind... But I solved the problem on page 27 and my answer was very different from the book. I spent about 20 minutes trying to figure out where I could have gone wrong. Finally, I realized that this problem must be given incorrectly. It begins: "Here are the measures you know: AC = 5, AB = 8, CD = 6, AD = 10, and BC = 10.5." And ends: "So BC is 5.7 units in length." This can't be correct. BC can't be 10.5 AND 5.7. I'm hoping I'm not this stupid, but if I am, and you own the same edition, please tell me where I went wrong. I can take it. Otherwise, I'm finding the book very helpful and appreciate the time and effort spent to write it. Many thanks to the author, and not trying to be a pain, just confused.

Be careful when you try to download the cheat sheet. In order to download it you may have to change your search engine. They make it sound easy but make sure you want what has to be done to actual see the cheat sheet. I decided it was not worth making all kinds of changes just to print one document.

Good book for students

No test or problems to do. It's not like high school math books. It's more of just how to do stuff with no test or problems to solve

Being a technical publication the answers and and rounding procedures should be clearer. I can't recommend this book to someone else unless some of the most glaring mistakes are corrected are at least acknowledged. Page 27 being one of the most frustrating. The diagonal measures of quadrilateral are swapped with the side measures. This will cause headaches to beginners.

Well written book,easy to understand.

Although I am fairly familiar with trigonometry, this book seriously improved my knowledge, it's a must read for anyone interested in mathematics and science. I highly recommend Trigonometry for Dummies!
