Good for your health
The Japanese think this is the best for your brain. I use a rectangle of seaweed, a teaspoon of rice, about 1/2 to 3/4 spoonful of Salmon roe, a few drops of lime. Tastes really good this way. My husband (84y.o.) was getting a bit forgetful and confused over simple things and I was concerned about him. My daughter-in-law is Japanese and suggested I try salmon roe about 1 ounce every other day. I have continued this for 6 months now and it seems to help. We now eat it because we like it and it is good for us.

The roe popping in your mouth is satisfying. Tastes like slightly salty salmon sushi with a slight fishy cooked salmon kind of taste. I got the buttery flavor of salmon sushi here. I was very happy with my purchase.

I love Ikra, I love it on buttered toast, I expected it to be in a tin, I usually make my own when salmon are in season, so this will have to do for now.

Came Unrefrigerated, Smelled Rotten
Would give 0 stars if possible. This item cost $30 to ship, in which it arrived late with ice packs melted and had gone bad before even opening. I could smell it through the cardboard box it arrived in. I tried to request a refund and it said it was not available for refund. THIS IS DISGRACEFUL.
