A: Exactly right, it does not retract. Not sure why this listing has the word retractable in the title. The one I bought was just called Instant Screen Door.

A: no unfortunately is not roll onto the top    I tought the same thing but anyway I keep it

**Q: does it roll up and down like a blind?**
A: No.

These screens do not retract,but they are very functional if you have pets or kids that go in and out of the house alot. I have used them for years and think they are very convenient. They keep flying bugs out and work well for kids and pets.
