AcuRite Iris Weather Station with Mini Wireless Display for Temperature, Humidity, Wind Speed, Wind Direction, Historic Rainfall Totals, and Hyperlocal Forecast with Built-in Barometer (01122M)

This is my third one in 30 years I think. The last one stopped measuring rain so I got another. Luckily my old displays work well with it. I find these to be very good for showing all kinds of weather measurements and am glad they are still made the same. I have the color display which has a kyron that shows all kinds of weather data like highest wind, avg wind etc. All kinds of data even the rate of rainfall. You can calibrate the rain gauge but I find it hard to do and hope that it is calibrated well already. This morning it rained and it said 0.64". I went out to check my NOAA official rain gauge said 0.65". I am very happy with it. I have the official gauge for accurate readings and the AcuRite for approximations while raining. It seems they agree, the old one didn't, but it was 10 years old. I'm a gardener and it is nice to know the weather in my home area.

I love this! It works very well and is quite affordable. I’ve been interested in a weather station for a a while now and while researching options, I kept coming back to this one. As a beginner to this sort of thing I found it was extremely easy to setup. The temperature, wind, speed and rain gauge were all accurate right out of the box and I do appreciate how you can calibrate the rain gauge if it’s not accurate. The display is easy to read however in the dark you can’t see the blue on the screen but after a while you really don’t need that. And connectivity is amazing as well. I have it across my house and the signal is still strong throughout having to go through multiple walls and across a large yard. Over all its designed really well and would highly recommend.

This weather station is great! We opted for the monochromatic screen and it's very well laid out. It's easy to look and see current weather information and seems very accurate. Doesn't take long for the system to update and no issues with connectivity.

Nice little basic unit, with a few extra features. Seems well engineered, manufactured and reasonably accurate. I like the outdoor humidity data, wasn't expecting that. The only downside, if one could call it that, is the wind speed info. Due to the slow refresh rate, you'll only get an accurate reading in a prolonged, steady, wind. Otherwise, the indicated wind velocity is wildly inaccurate...and on the slow side. Forget about gust readings, the unit is too slow. To be fair, however, wind speed at this price point is a nice little "extra". This unit meets expectations, for me.

I was very excited to get this because I've had other weather stations and really enjoyed them. However, I've had a lot of issues with this. One thing I cannot see anywhere where it says the dew point on the screen and that was one of the main things I wanted. The rain records doesn't work anymore and today we had a huge storm and the Weathervane stopped working so I was really curious about how strong the wind was but it wasn't even turning and it did not measure the rainfall. The other really big disappointment is the screen is so dark you cannot read it unless you're holding it right in front of your face. I've had three other accurite weather stations and love them all, but this one I do not. I'm not even sure how to go about getting help for it. Big disappointment.

I like AcuRite Iris weather stations. Simple setup and good information.

I’ve used the Accurite Weather Stations for many years, now. All have functioned well. This is a replacement for the one I’ve had for over 10 years.

This would get 5 stars except the monater that came is NOT as big as the old one. No lights in it to see it easier . The old one of which this is exactly like has a better monater and works with the new weather machine. The machine itself is good and we had the old one for about 5 years. So we bought it again. The new one does not back light but out old black and white one did. Now only colored one does.
