I bought 3 of these. I was very pleased with them.

Built both these cars, one remote controlled battery operated, the other solar-powered, with my two grandsons this past weekend. The four year old was excited to help gather parts and assemble the easier parts like axels and wheels. The six year old was able, with guidance, to assemble almost all the parts, including connecting the motor and wires. Everyone was quite excited to see both cars work so beautifully. They inspired hours of conversation about electricity, grids, solar power, how it all works, etc. All parts, wood and metal, plastic and rubber are very durable and accurately machined to easily fit and stay together. Highly recommend this excellent kit for curious scientific minds.

Super cool and easy to assemble!

Great fun to put together! You only need a small screwdriver and batteries. The 8 yr old did most if it himself. One of our electrical boards didn't quite work right (on the report control), which probably just happens. We had fun learning how to tell which part was not working.
