It's two small rollers the about crayon size and a piece of paper to roll the ingredients into cylinders. Probably weighs a few grams. If it was 6 pounds it would roll industrial cigarettes the size of a tree.... Which would be silly unless it's April 20th. **Q: how long does it last till it brakes?** A: I don’t think it engages it’s brakes unless it need to reduce speed, like if it was driving down a steep hill. As for when the machine might break, I’ve been using it daily (3-5 rolls) for over a year now **Q: does anyone use this for their legal, medical marijuana? Does it work well?** A: It works excellent for marijuana. You need a grinder to break the weed down into smaller pieces and allows you to craft perfect joints. The funny thing about this and why i got it from Amazon was because we walked into literally a "tobacco shop" looking for one of these and when we couldn't find one we asked the lone employee and he said they don't carry them. Hmm...okay? So trying to salvage the trip, I asked what brand of 1 pound bags of tobacco they had available and thats when I lost it. He actually said to me "we don't actually sell tobacco, but can i interest you in a vape?' Huh? A tobacco shop that doesn't sell tobacco? Only vape and vape struff? I jokingly told the guy then you might want to change the name of your store and he didn't find it very funny...but i was rather amused. Anyway, just had to get that story out there. The roller is high quality as you would expect from Zig Zag and when used properly, will last for a long time. Its your classic plastic and vinyl mechanical roller and it works great. I've rolled thousands using this machine with very little effort or problems. As long as you use the right amount of tobacco, you will get a tight, but not too tight, quality smoke from it everytime. Roll your owns are not for everyone, but those that enjoy it and take pride in their craft will appreciate the simplicity and durability of this machine. Works well with a variety of papers also. And you never have to worry about a power source like some of the fancier ones these days.
