I like the material of the socks much better than 100% cotton for running. They feel good to wear and while absorbing the moisture, they don't get soaking wet like the cotton.

These socks are perfect for summer use. Have been wearing Smartwool socks for nearly 20 years and have never worn through in toe area but have seen heels become thread bare after many years.

I guess the "targeted" padding means they are a little thin overall. Not enough to be annoying - they are comfortable - but I wish there was a bit more padding. Otherwise, good value and fit well.

Great socks for MTB.

I purchased 3 pair for my husband to wear with his workboots. He usually just wears regular socks, but I wanted to get him some wool socks, because his regular socks get wet and crusty and gross. Even after washing his clothes his socks still seem crusty.lol These wool socks are great. Out of all his socks these are the only ones to maintain their softness and he's even commented how much he likes them. 3 pair was not enough. They are with the money.

Great socks for extra trying sport. Have used these socks for tennis marathon matches. Assist in muscle recovery and best results.

I wear these for golf as I was recommended them by my brother. I thought paying this much for socks was a bit much, but now I never play without them.I used to be very picky with what golf shoes I could wear, but that’s no longer the case. Comfort is awesome regardless what shoes I have on, never get blisters or rubbing wearing them. I would say that because of the extra cushioning, shoes do feel a little more snug which is fine as long as they don’t rub. They do tend to be a bit warmer on the feet than other socks during the summer months, but not even close to the point where it’s an issue. The length is a bit odd, they aren’t quite a just above the shoe length, nor are they a long sock, it covers my ankle bone and then maybe an inch, which is fine for wearing trousers, but they look a bit weird with shorts.Would recommend them though.
