Although, I was not impressed with the plate it came with. It looks like a pretty clear acrylic in the picture, but it seems to be a dull plastic and very thin. However, I still gave this product a 5 because for a beginner, the tools included are still worth the purchase. I mostly do my carving on the table covered in wax paper anyway, but I can use the little plate for the white clay to keep it from getting dirty. I hope this review helps new people like me to make a sound decision.
