Most fuel pumps for carbuerated engines put out a maximum of 14psi. Normally aspirated needs about 7psi. So if you are adding boost it is a 1:1 rato. For every pound of boost you add 1psi. For 5 lbs boost is 7psi + 5psi boost = 12psi at least. Do the math from there if increasing boost.
