**Q: What is the difference between the mr color thinner and mr color leveling thinner? do both serve to thin paint?**
A: Both can be used to thin Mr. Color lacquer paint.
Leveling thinner dries somewhat slower, for someone who prefers more brush painting, the self leveling nature takes a little longer to dry, therefore more time for slower hand painting jobs with less brush strokes to show. This is comparatively speaking, for larger areas, even thinned with leveling thinner may show some brush strokes, just not as obvious.
For airbrushing, expect leveling thinner takes a little longer than the regular thinner to dry. Ending results appear to be similar for me.

**Q: Is it compatible as a thinner for enamel paints.**
A: If you use too much, it breaks out the pigments from carrier solution.
Have used it OK for airbrush thinning.

**Q: Anyone used this as thinner for tamiya or model master paints?**
A: I used this thinner for model master,humbrol,gunze,revell

**Q: would this work as a non waterbased thinning agent for my oil paints?**
A: Mr. Color paints are acrylic, so I do not think this thinner would work with oil based paint.
