I'd give it more stars but usb charging port is up against the trigger guard! There's no way to charge the battery when it's mounted on the gun. Very poor design. Could have easily put it on the bottom of the laser with a rubber plug to keep out dirt. In fact... there's no plug for the usb port anyway to keep out dirt. So... I'm giving it 3 stars due to the fact that I'm going to have to take it off to recharge it and then take it to the range to re-sight it;Another draw back is the position of the mounting bar for the rail slot. It's too far forward. Because of the position of the battery being in the back of the laser, I can't mount it all the way to the rear. I'm only able to mount it one from away from the trigger guard. So I have to use my non-trigger hand to turn it on and off. I'm using it on a Ruger Security 9.

The laser turned on right out of the box, so I immediately mounted it, and adjusted the L/R and up/down. Once it was zero'ed in I decided to charge it up. It never occurred to me to check where the charging port was. It is in the back next to where my trigger guard starts! Basically, this means it cannot be charged when mounted! You have to take it off the rail, and remount it each time it has been charged. I would have thought the manufacturer would have thought about this when designing it. Other than that, it is a nice compact laser that works well and looks equally well on my Sig Sauer subcompact.

    Seems like a good product

Like the other reviews I would have liked the charging port to be more accessible. So is the location of the charging port a deal breaker? I asked myself "How often would I even have to charge it?" and "How difficult is it to install, remove and re0install this laser?" If you don't like having to deal with a few seconds of removing this laser from the pistol so you can charge it then perhaps you should look for a firearm that shoots itself without a finger? Really? It's not a big deal especially when you look at the price you pay for this. I like it. Matter of fact, I am ordering 2 more of these for 2 of my other pistols...
