The build quality is acceptable, being a bit light in the hand. In the case of a selfie stick, this is a good thing! You won't notice very much extra weight outside of your own device tacked onto the end of it. The tripod itself is very steady, holding a fun without a problem, even when fully extended. The remote that comes with it is also accompanied by a small micro-SD cable that allows you to charge it on the go. The design allows you to use the controller remotely or attached to the device. Pairing controller was simple, giving me no issues in regard to "discovery" on my phone. I honestly can't believe what you get for the price.
