Lovely old fashioned starch powder
I had been looking for starch powder to use for our altar linen at my church. Boots used to do it but in recent years they have stopped its production. I tried this not knowing whether it would be good for purpose. When I got it out to use looked at the instructions and I like other purchasers thought scoop, what scoop? I thought back to when I was using my old starch and used 3 tablespoons of powder. I was absolutely delighted with the results, it did feel a little bit stiffer than it needed to be so perhaps next time I will try 2 tablespoons instead and see if this works. I am thrilled that I have found this and will continue to use it, thank you

bought for slime
Bought to make slime, made a bottle full of activator and didn't work added little by little to glue but didn't seem to work at all. Made a smaller activator, you need to put ALOT I mean ALOTTT! Of starch will a lot less water u think to make it work. Slime is good although quite sticky but if add more it'll go runny. The packet comes so so much smaller than I thought it would people are selling this for £9-15+ Would never spend that much on this as it's very small and happy I only spent £2.72 on it.

Doesn’t work for slime, ok for washing
Didn’t notice a huge amount of difference to the washing. Daughter used it for the slime making but didn’t work

kershaws laundry starch
Delighted to have found an old fashioned starch product that really does the trick of seriously starching cottons. Yes, it is a lot of work to use but I was able to give a fantastic finish with the correct appearance to all our Victorian pinafores for our theatrical production and not have to deal with all the residue on the iron plate that one often gets with the horrible spray starch. As a person who tries to avoid using sprays of any type (cancer sufferer)it was healthier to treat the number of aprons and petticoats I needed to present with this natural starch product. My only disappointment is the price, as nearly all drama groups have to work on a shoestring. Maybe if more people buy this great product, production costs might lessen and make it cheaper?

Makes old linen cloths beautifully crisp again
Very good starch and not easy to find in shops. Follow mixing instructions correctly.....(like mixing cornflour) and always iron fabric while still damp, gradually drying it out with the iron. Will remain creased if dried too much before starting to iron! If you've not time to iron at the right stage of dampness, pop cloth (folded up) in a large poly bag until ready to iron. First iron cloth single on wrong side, then fold in half right sides together and iron through both thicknesses. Hey presto! a smart, crisp tablecloth

Perfect slime activator UK!! X
So my daughter has tried many many times to make slime but we just couldn’t get it right... we watched a YouTube tutorial of how to make slime in the UK and we came across this... it’s god sent and worked amazingly in making the slime my Child was long wishing for! I know we didn’t use the starch for what it’s originally meant for but we used it as the perfect activator for slime! Would defo recommend to all slime makers x
